09:00 Friday and a much needed new back tyre had not yet reached Huntly Motorcycles.

Bugger the F3 rally gremlin was at it again. 10:00 John phoned tyre had just come in, off to Huntly for some lovely new rubber.

The plan was to meet Chris in Aberbronx and head down the road, phone rings, "Bri I'm gonna be late" at's ok loon so am I, we agreed to meet in Stonehaven at 15:00.

Got back to Inverhoorie and loaded the bike ready for the off. going over the back road to meet Chris I could smell what I thought was paint thinners, Feck me did I get that one wrong ! changing down as I got to a junction the new rubber gave a bit of a squirm touched the brake and off we went on a slither all over the road.

After pulling the seat out of my arse I set off again albeit like someone that had never been on a bike before.

Chris was waiting at the petrol station and after getting fuel we were ready for the off, the city of roundabouts was the next stop for fuel, it pissed down by the way, andthe little chef before Stirling got the pleasure of two dripping bikers looking for coffee.

Next stop "P in the Park"

No got that wrong ...........Next stop "erm how do we get to Lesmahagow ?" yip I missed the cut off. Never mind we got there after a slight de-tour.

Chris got a wee bit excited when we got the tents up !!

After getting directions Chris asked if he would get fuel at the rally, "Aye ers pumps at the site" OOOOPS got that wrong as well ! (well there wis last year!)

Vixon and Claire were waiting at the gate, they had arrived just before us an the rest of the crew were already in the bar. Found there tents and started to get ours up with the help of a few beers and Sir Jack.

Turra had her tint up at the top o the park so it was    up-rooted and planted with the rest of the F3 family. Boab coudn't make it down on Friday but would join us on Saturday.

Claire was celibrating her birthday and was well on the way by the time we got to the bar.

"Full Metal Racket" kicked the night off followed by "The Claches"

On one of my trips to the bar I found Chris and Seth with some Turbo Vimto with a spicie kick, after the blue wicked ran out there were some strange things being mixed in a pint glass.

Seth, Chris and Mitch.

The bands had the place jumping and with the addition of an improvised extention there was plenty of room for everyone.

Sitting quite happy with a supply of Sir Jack on the table when Seth came running over and said "Bri Cum On" ..... Whit for ? "Cum On" was the answer...What the Fu.. he then grabbed Chris and headed to the door, then I saw him poor Wee John was gonna get it "It's Pin Ball Time" (I'm sure Al of Bikers 1( http://www.bikers1.com ) will have photos)

Goons N Turra.

After the bands finished we finished our beverages and were told there was music in the big tint in the feild.

Time for some food me thinks.........

We had something to eat and headed back to the tents. After a wee nightcap it was into the sleeping bag and oblivion.

Saturday

Mmmm me need something......... someone said "Jack" Oh..... ok then! We then headed over for something to eat and had a wander round the site.

"Bars open" were the words utterd as we got back to the tent, Oh.... ok then! A pint of the "Black Stuff" would do the trick, then another and another and another and so it went on. Matty, Angi, Moira and Snake had gone to see one of Snakes mates as Moira was getting a tattoo done on her wrist.

During the aftenoon we heard the main band had called off and we faced a night of CD's, oh well I'm sure we have all had worse nights.

The wheelie bin race was a hoot but I forgot to take photos, classy purple ones bytheway not your run of the mill Aberdeenshire grey.

The first band was five young loons and did a mixed "Metal" set with attitude. (they had there in-line head nodding mates with them incase we didna like them)

Al had told me that his boy was in the band but I didn't see any of them with long hair and a grey beard so not sure fit een he wis.

Boab had arrived and with tint up and a feed he was ready to party and that he did rather well, (think he was last oot o the bar that night.) The awards and Tattoo Competition was done between bands and Snake, Chris and masell took to the floor to show off weer Tats, from a line-up of some rather nice artwork the winner........ (picked by Sharon & Scooby) was one done by Kev at Draconian in Aberdeen ( http://www.draconiantattoo.com ) and the best bit was it was on my leg !

The "Stand in" main band that Talisman MCC found were excelent and everyone enjoyed their mixed bag and slight piss taking of the head banging front row.

I may add to this as I sift through the photos but to be quite honest I canna remember much about Saturday.

Special thanks to Bob (www.psychobiker.net) & Claire for the use of  photos.

It can be a wee bit to much for some !

Chris with Wee Johns hoodie, at's as far as it goes.
